UESTCoffers a variety of master’s and PhD programs, including 13 English-taughtcourses in specialties such as mathematics, physics, and computer science.Master’s degrees take a minimum of two years to complete and PhDs are at leastthree years’ long. To apply for a master’s degree, you need to be under 35 andhave a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus the required proficiency testresult, depending on if you study in English or Chinese. You’ll need to applyonline, submitting all the required documents.

Toapply for a doctoral degree, you need to be under 40 and have a master’s degreeor equivalent, and again have proof of your proficiency in the course’slanguage of instruction. Both English-taught and Chinese-taught master’sdegrees cost ¥25,000 a year (~US$3,600), and all doctoral programs cost ¥34,000a year (~US$4,900).
