Located in Paraguay’s capital city of Asunción is Universidad Americana, one of the largest private higher education establishments in the country. With its two additional teaching facilities located in Ciudad del Este – the second largest city in the nation – and Encarnación – Paraguay’s third largest city, the university is recognized on a national and international scale for its service to higher education since its establishment in 1994.
There are three faculties at the university, including the Faculty of Communication Arts and Science of Technology, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and the Faculty of Law, Political and Social Sciences, which all offer both on- and off-campus learning modalities at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
The university’s faculty is made up of national and international lecturers and professors who all contribute to the development and creation of local and international modules for students to study.

- A completed enrollment form from the Student Services Department
- Tuition fee payment
- Original Certificate of Studies, endorsed and legalized by the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC)
- A photocopy of your identity card
- 3x3 color photos
- Proven language proficiency in Spanish (B2)
- Letter of recommendation from your undergraduate university
- Copy of your undergraduate transcript
