Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University

Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University (SRTTU) wasfounded in 1980 as Enghelab TechnologyCenter (ETC) through integrating Tehran Technology Institutes. Later, ETC wasnamed Enghelab Higher Technical Education Center (EHTEC) and launched AssociateDegrees and Technical Vocational undergraduate programs. In 1993, it turnedinto Technical and Vocational Teachers College (TVTC) and launched two otherundergraduate programs through the national entrance exam. Considering theavailable potentials, the EHTEC and TVTC were integrated into SRTTU uponattaining a license from the Ministry of Science, Researches, and Technologyand the approval of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution (SupremeCultural Revolution Council). The Campus of SRTTU is located in the Northernpart of Tehran, the capital of Iran, in Lavizan district with an area of about150,000 m2 andincludes more than 50,000 m2 of indoor spaces including faculties,offices, labs, workshops, sports, and cultural facilities.
