L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University is the only young university from Kazakhstan entered the QS Top 50 Under 50.
ENU is located in Astana, the fast-growing capital city of Kazakhstan, in the heart of Eurasia.
ENU is a member of the Eurasian Association of Universities, Association of Asian Universities, STARNET, Turkic Universities Union, Network University of CIS countries, University of Shanghai Organization, ICRA-Net.
ENU actively participate in state program “Development of education hub in Central Asia” and nowadays host more than 3% of international students from 25 countries of the world.
ENU is working on developing services for international students therefore WELCOME center is at their disposal.
ENU has adapted and actively promotes the Bologna principles of academic mobility among faculty and students. This open policy of integration into the world educational arena has enabled ENU to send its students abroad for study at leading universities and to host students from Europe, Asia, and North America.
Our students have the opportunity to study in the USA, Germany, Japan, Korea, France, Latvia, Poland, China, etc.
ENU is a member of such programs as Erasmus+, Mevlana, UGRAD, and the Korean scholarship program.
#1 based on the number of scientific publications in magazines with impact factor included in the international scientometric databases (Web of Science, Scopus). The main priority of the university is the development of state-of-the-art scientific technologies, including alternative energy, biotechnology, information technology, nanotechnologies and space technologies.
Research is carried out in 30 research divisions. The scientific works of researchers can be found in international journals indexed by Scopus and Thompson Reuters.
2 Journals of ENU have been included in Scopus Eurasian Mathematical Journal and Eurasian Journal of Mathematics and Computer Applications.
ENU is oriented toward the development of entrepreneurship skills of talented students; thus, the Start-Up Zone was opened especially for those who are ready to make their ideas and projects come true.

ENU provides a warm and supportive environment for everyone to develop intellectually, spiritually, socially and physically.
ENU welcomes students to participate in more than 50 art and culture, athletics, politics and social clubs, studios and centers, such as the cheerleading team, music studio, design studio, student theatre “Attraction”, choreography group and studio of art.
ENU supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal No.4 with the establishment of ENU Model United Nations Club http://enumunclub.wixsite.com/enuimun (ENU MUN CLUB) in 2016. ENU MUN CLUB's mission is to equip students with knowledge and skills, through dynamic simulation programs, needed to promote sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, the culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture's contribution to sustainable development. Every year, ENU MUN CLUB organizes ENU International Model United Nations conference which attracts the participation of students from various countries in different continents. Participants of the conference have the chance to voice their perspectives about issues of international concern and team up with each other to propose pragmatic resolutions. Despite its young age, ENU International Model United Nations has been internationally recognized by international MUN community as a success story in Asia circuit.
