Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU) is a private comprehensive university founded by the Benedictines at the request of the Holy See in Beijing in 1926, and was re-established in 1961 in Taiwan with the joint efforts of the Society of Jesus, Society of Divine Word and the Regional Bishops’ Conference.
